Our History
SADEV GROUP combines expertise in gears to create synergy. The group was founded in 2024 by SADEV Racing Transmission, a leader in motorsport transmission systems ded in 2024 by SADEV Racing Transmission, a leader in motorsport transmission systems. Its business project, Génération 2, prompted it to undertake to apply its know-how to other markets, drawing on the expertise of existing companies.
This led to the acquisition of Tunisie Applications Mécaniques, which specialises in gears for the energy and mobility sectors, and Billard Engrenages, which specialises in aerospace and defence.

SADEV Racing Transmission
Our story
Driven by his passion for motorsport, Benoît Vincendeau founded SADEV in 1974. The company began as a subcontractor working in the precision turning and general mechanical engineering sectors. Then, in the early 1980s, it moved into the design and production of gearboxes for motor racing. Soon after, vehicles fitted with SADEV gearboxes started picking up victories.
SADEV then decided to focus on precision gears. Very quickly, the company was able to expand its production facilities, make massive investments in its machinery and win new contracts. In this way, SADEV became a reference in the field of transmissions.

With founders with a passion for motor sport and a committed team, the people at SADEV have always been driven by the same passion for motor racing.
